Park Avenue Free Methodist Church sits right in the centre of Sydenham. It sits comfortably between the houses in Park Avenue and not on a main road and this has been to the church’s advantage as it has people very literally on its doorstep.
It has been the desire of the current leadership team and the church body to seek to reach out and make the church a friendly and welcoming church to those in the Sydenham area who have no church background.
Over the last number of years the church has been successful in introducing some new initiatives and as a result of these, the numbers in every area of church programs have increased and the age range is much more varied. The prayers of the church are that this exciting movement with continue.
